This past week, the Boost Media Revenue Team held their annual two-day Sales Kick Off event for 2015 in San Francisco. The event is a time for the team to reflect on the successes of the previous year, review sales initiatives for the upcoming year and to share goals — both for the company and personal resolutions — for 2015.
Day one of the Sales Kick Off was held at the Native Sons of the Golden West building, a beautiful and historic location in the heart of San Francisco. CRO Tim Krozek opened with a inspiring presentation encompassing Boost’s core values, mission and vision as an organization. Next, the Sales Operations team covered their strategy for supporting and expanding the revenue department in the upcoming year. The afternoon continued with a series of presentations from the Marketing team, including an exciting look into what content we have to look forward to in Q1. We concluded Day 1 with individual presentations from each Enterprise Business Representatives showcasing personal strategies for success and goals they wish to reach in 2015. The Boost Team wrapped up Day 1 with a company dinner at Perry’s, where we were joined by CEO David Greenbaum and COO Rob Lenderman.
Day 2 was held at our very own Boost HQ, where we gained further insight into the upcoming year with breakout sessions led by each department head. Senior Product Manager Jeff Perkins gave us a sneak peak into improving Boost product UI’s followed by an engaging presentation from the head of Boost’s Image department, David Carter. The Kick Off continued with insight into Boost’s 2015 Business Development strategy from Senior Vice President of Business Development, Michael Feldman. In addition, Vice President of Customer Success Jeff McCarthy highlighted his team’s goals and strategies for 2015. We wrapped up the Day 2 with a final presentation from Data and Analytics Manager, Bill Sherby.
In true Boost style, it was a must to mix in a little fun with all the valuable information we gained over the course of the two day event. We headed over to Brewcade SF, where a department-wide classic arcade game tournament was held. After many fierce showdowns, EBR Sam Marks took the #1 spot as 2015 Sales Kick Off Brewcade champion.
The 2015 Sales Kick Off event proved to be equal parts informative and fun and was overall success for Team Boost. Here’s to a successful 2015!
