The Product team at Boost is constantly working to improve the design and user experience of our platform to meet our awesome client’s needs. We’re excited to announce the latest frontend and backend product development updates. Here they are below:

March Highlights

Terminology Announcement

We’ve re-named two features that are really the backbone of the Boost platform. A “contest” is now called an “optimization.” In case you need a refresher, a contest is an ad group’s A/B test run between an advertiser’s original ad and an ad submitted from our writer network.

Additionally, our beloved writers from the Creative Network are getting a new name. Formerly known as “Creatives,” the Boost writers will now be called “Boosters.” Boosters are truly at the core of our organization. They are the heart and soul behind each and every ad written for our clients.

Optimizations Search Results Update

This update will provide an improved search results filtering and sorting functionality for Boosters on the front end. The Boost UI Team has also finished the new design for the optimizations search results and optimizations submission pages.

As an example, let’s say a Booster is especially good at writing ads for the educational vertical. That Booster is now able to easily filter search results for optimizations in the education category. Advertisers in turn receive better ads written by Boosters with more expertise in that vertical.

Optimizations Guidelines Backend Update

This update will allow the customer to view a set of specific guidelines for each of their optimizations. This ensures that advertisers are receiving ads that are compliant and meet their specific brand guidelines.

Optimizations Submissions History Backend Update

This update provides a complete list of contests that a Booster has submitted. This will help Boosters understand their history within the Creative Network Platform, and therefore improve their writing ability by looking at which ads have won versus lost. When writers gain more insights into how their ads are performing and what they can do to improve, advertisers in turn get higher quality ads.

Advertiser Feedback Backend Update

This update provides ad rejections and change requests history for Boosters. This enables the writers to understand what an advertiser liked and what they didn’t like in ad copy. By helping Boosters view their ad rejections/change requests more easily, Boosters can refine their approach when it comes to writing ads.

Boosters Rating Algorithm Update

There have been substantial updates to the algorithm that rates and ranks Boosters in the Creative Network. The updated algorithm will now more heavily consider submission volume, acceptance rate and win rate when ranking Boosters. This means that better writers will bubble to the top for advertisers, ensuring the best of breed Boosters continue to write ads for you!

Stay tuned for next month’s product updates and release.
