Last Wednesday, May 20th, Boost Media and more than 200 of the most innovative companies gathered at the historic Golden Gate Club for K8 Kenshoo Client Summit. The exclusive conference is a combination of keynotes, panels, networking opportunities and interactive Learning Labs that provide attendees with a look into the future of modern digital marketing.

 

The conference kicked off with a warm welcome from Kenshoo’s CRO, Ted Krantz. Krantz discussed the increasingly complex and numerous channels available to brands today and emphasized that keeping up with this evolving landscape is crucial.

 

Following a short discussion of transformation and embracing change from Kenshoo’s CEO, Yoav Izhar-Prato, President of World Access for the Blind, Daniel Kish, took the stage and captivated the audience with his keynote presentation. Kish outlined strategies for setting up the right condition for success. He inspired K8 attendees as he discussed that fearing the unknown and not taking chances is what truly hinders transformation and progress.

 

Another highlight of this year’s summit was the interactive Learning Lab sessions. Boost, along with nine other K8 sponsors, hosted interactive presentations where attendees could network and learn more about each organizations solution. Boost’s lab featured exclusive tips and industry specific best practices for ad copy and creative optimization.

 

The summit continued with a keynote from Forrester Research Analyst, Tina Moffett. Moffett specializes in consumer marketing measurement and analytics. Her presentation focused on how mobile has accelerated and intensified the shift toward consumer oriented marketing. This shift, as Moffett explained, has caused, “the age of the customer, [where] individuals are always-addressable.” It’s up to brands to personalize their messaging to speak directly to their target audience.

 

After a series of breakout sessions, the main portion of K8 concluded with the “Future of Digital” panel discussion lead by Founder and CEO of Chacka Marketing, Janel Levine, SVP, Resolution Jeff Campbell, Vp, eCommerces for Barnes & Noble Michael Curro and VP, Global Director at Starcom MediaBest Group, Theodore Hadjis. As the panelists explained emerging insights of today’s digital marketing ecosystem, an artist conveyed these ideas by painting them live in front of the audience. The key point of the panel session was that context is key for the future (and now) of digital marketing.
