Just how big of an impact is social media making on holiday shopping this year? Chances are, bigger than even the experts are trying to calculate, but either way, it’s big! On a more serious note, F-Secure released a different holiday infographic, featured on Search Engine Journal, showing that $10,000,000 has been lost due to cyber crime this holiday season. The infographic shows the top 6 online retailers this holiday season, with over 50% of smartphone owners using their phones to research and shop. Before we wrap up our roundup, we wanted to pass along a great roundup put together by Derek Edmond over at KoMarketing Associates – not just for the week but the whole year! He’s included a bunch of great resources that are worth a read. We particularly like Rae Hoffman-Dolan’s “Link Building with the Experts – 2011 Edition” and SEOMoz’s “Search Engine Ranking Factors – 2011“.
